Steve has been with the company for over 35 years, serving as Chairman and CEO for the past 20 years. Under his leadership, Chelten House expanded into organic manufacturing in the 1980s and transitioned from primarily producing the Chelten House brand to focusing on private label production for major retailers. As a result, the company has grown to more than eight times its size in the last decade.

Steve has overseen the construction and expansion of both manufacturing facilities, as well as significant investments in state-of-the-art process rooms that provide Chelten House with a competitive advantage. With a vision to become a leader in culinary products, he began hiring chefs 15 years ago to develop the most authentic products in the marketplace.

Steve has served for 20 years on the board of the Association for Dressings and Sauces, including two terms as Chairman. In 2013, he was recognized as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Philadelphia region.
